Endazhi-Onjii-Anishinaabewiyang

On these ancestral lands, we must always remember who we are- we are Anishinaabe. Never to forget what our ancestors did to protect our culture and identity, we are still here.
The stories, knowledge and all living things are sacred to who we are, we are nature. We must remember to walk softly on Mother Earth, caring and nurturing her for the seven generations. We must follow our original instructions, we do this for all living things, we are the protectors.
We must not be denied who we are, the land, water, air, and fire these are sacred to all living things. We are all sacred, we are connected to the web of life.
We must take only what we need and give back what is not ours. We’re nothing without nature, we are one.
We must always remember who we are, we are pitiful beings dependent on the water, the land, the air, and fire.
Together, collectively, we must realign ourselves with natural law and create a future we all thrive in collectively as the treaties intended.
