Sugarbush Camp

Maple syrup is integral to food sovereignty which is key to our survival, mental health, resilience and health outcomes. We envision that sugarbush camp will bring healing, purpose, resilience, cultural sharing and community building.

Berry Camp

Berry picking is a spiritual and cultural way of life, important rituals are taught during this time. For young women, it’s a ceremonial time of celebrating the ‘coming of age’.

Manoomin Camp

A nutritional and high protein grain native to North America, Manoomin is considered sacred, holding deep cultural and spiritual significance for the Anishinaabeg people. Manoomin is considered a sacred relative, a symbol of identity and history for the Anishinaabeg.

Community Garden

Our goal is to create a community greenspace that can provide better nutrition and social connections. We envision this space providing healing, purpose, resilience and community building. Food sovereignty is key to our survival, mental health and physical landscape as well as provides beautification of landscapes by creating more green spaces

A gathering of Natives and non-Natives aimed at building a foundation of understanding and mutual respect for Anishinaabeg Peoples and treaties. Together we learn to be better treaty people while building a future we can all thrive in
