Community Garden
Our goal is to create a community greenspace that can provide better nutrition and social connections. We envision this space providing healing, purpose, resilience and community building. Food sovereignty is key to our survival, mental health and physical landscape as well as provides beautification of landscapes by creating more green spaces
Community gardens offer physical activity and provide nutritional food. Gardening can also reduce stress, improve relaxation and promote a sense of overall wellbeing
Economically beneficial by providing free food to the elderly and underserved populations
Increasing sustainability by producing local foods which decreases transportation emissions
Community gardens create community building by embracing humanity and addressing important issues that affect communities and the environment
