The Summit will build a foundation of understanding and mutual respect for Anishinaabeg Peoples. Learning to honor treaties, nationhood and self-determination of Tribal Peoples is integral for a transition to environmental and racial justice. Topics will discuss issues like inherent rights on ceded territory and protecting natural and cultural resources from extractive industries. In the end, attendees will build meaningful and healthy relationships that allow us to collectively build a future we can all thrive in as treaty people
